Schnottz's Landing is a port recently built along the southwestern shores of Uldum.[23, 64] Commander Schnottz runs his operation from here, where his people loot the relics from the ancient temples in the region. These relics are being placed on their ships docked here. They invited the most illustrious figures of Azeroth to be present when they reveal the secrets of Uldum.
Soon after the adventurer arrives, bad things start occurring at the camp, Ambassador Laurent is killed when he started asking questions and Schnottz's bunker is blown up, with him inside. The invited guests are placed into the barracks and held against their will. After they manage to escape and Schnottz blames the adventurer for all the problems, he takes the adventurer out back to be killed, but gets stopped by Harrison Jones.
After this all occurs the camp will only have Schnottz and his bodyguards left, with his workers all killed and his guests all gone.
The area also contains several dig sites located throughout the desert.
