- Not to be confused with Quel'Danil Lodge in Hinterlands.
History
The Quel'Lithien Lodge was once a commonly-visited Farstrider camp, and the high elven ranger Lor'themar Theron would often be greeted warmly by his compatriots at the lodge during his visits. It housed a number of elven documents, even some pertaining to the royal family and the Ranger-general of Silvermoon.
After Kael'thas Sunstrider renamed the high elven race "blood elves" in honor of the many elves who had perished during the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas, he commanded Lor'themar - the second in command to the now-deceased Ranger General Sylvanas - to safeguard the elven kingdom. Some time after, Kael sent back the powerful Rommath with a number of new teachings for his people to sate themselves with - including forcibly stripping arcane magic from external sources, even demons. Lor'themar was instructed to advocate these teachings, and for the most part the sin'dorei took well to them. However, a few did not - Renthar Hawkspear, a comrade of Lor'themar's, openly opposed the notion of using these radical new teachings. Unwilling to lead a nation divided, Lor'themar banished Renthar and his rangers from Quel'Thalas.
At some point, Renthar and his company made their residence in the Quel'Lithien Lodge, and it has served as their home ever since. The lodge, already brutalized by the Scourge remnants, came under attack from another source - Forsaken agents on behalf of Nathanos Blightcaller, who killed a number of rangers at the lodge and took the

After the dramatic events that transpired on the Isle of Quel'Danas, a somewhat repentant Lor'themar - now the sole leader of Quel'Thalas - made the journey to the lodge once more. He offered Renthar and his company aid and supplies, now that the Ghostlands had become more secure. However, Renthar cited Nathanos' onslaught and his own banishment as reason enough to decline his offers, and Renthar ordered Lor'themar to begone from the lodge instead.[1]
Cataclysm
All the elves at the lodge have become Wretched, after Ranger Lord Hawkspear found an item of seductive energy.[2] Only Kirkian Dawnshield and Hawkspear himself are the only known residents to have escaped their fate.
While Dawnshield chose to seek out personal assistance for putting his family out of their misery from any adventurers who would listen, at the base of the nearby Northpass Tower, the former Ranger Lord, now known as "Death-Hunter", kneels to the side of the Argent Crusade's corpse burning pit down below, looking off at his former home in the distance. While Hawkspear is now apparently focused on destroying the undead and waits for people to ask him to ally himself with them for that purpose, none have yet to appear to have made such an offer.
