If you are looking for a way to help the wiki, one good way is to contribute your time to the projects being worked on by users of Wowpedia. Wowpedia projects are a place for like minded people to work on areas of the wiki! Find out more on Wowpedia:Projects! Some individual projects Warcraft III units cleanup project online sources project Kill the evil categories. Mini projects Convert all appropriate tables to "darktable" - see WP:MOS#Tables for guidelines. Fix article message boxes - see WP:MOS#Article message boxes for guidelines. Clean up the Newbie guides - especially formatting, naming and combined format. Got a project of your own? [Add it here!]

Vote! Nominate and discuss featured articles! Take a look at the votes in progress! Expand! Expand and categorise some stubs! Fulfil some image requests! Write a new article that's on the the wanted list! Edit and fix! Work on merge candidates! Some pages need to be cleaned up. Others just need to be wikified. Link pages from Special:Lonelypages back into Wowpedia. ... or categorizing some uncategorized pages? Update out-of-date articles! Fix some misspellings. Or browse the entire Things to do category!

Things you can help out with

• Before editing API pages, please read the relevant guidelines.
• Fill out all those red links in World of Warcraft API!   (though pick in order of likelihood of being useful). Looking at the FrameXML code to find out how the functions are being used is good way to begin. Please do not create stubs if you are not adding new and useful facts - we prefer red links over stubs with no additional information.
• Copy bolded items in the Global functions list to World of Warcraft API et al.
• Scan Category:API stubs for unfinished pages!
• Take a look in Category:Votes for deleting and look for API pages.
• Help convert old pages to the Help:API Function articles style!
• Add "Triggers Events" sections to old pages that do not have them (and should have them).

Warcraft III patch news

Warcraft III patch – current 1.24b · next TBA

Patch 1.23a Battle.net now uses a new banner ad system. Fixed an exploit where an altered custom map would be seen identical to the original custom map. Fixed an issue where some patches could not apply on Intel Macs. Notes - Download

Patch 1.24b PC World Editor Increased max map file size from 4 MB to 8 MB. Added the ability to store hashtable handles in a hashtable. Added GetSpellTargetX and GetSpellTargetY natives. Added a new base handle type "Agent" of which many types now extend from. Added a SaveAgentHandle native which can be used for saving most handle types. Added a JASS optimization dealing with global variable change events. Fixes Fixed a few false positives caused by the "return bug" fix. Fixed a crash related to hashtable reference counting. "Shadowing" global variables with local variables no longer is possible. Fixed a type conversion dealing with operators (i.e. adding a handle with an integer).
