Trivia
Early in the beta of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, this town was a forested area called "Wayward Landing" where players would have to complete quests related to the Alliance establishing a foothold in the area. The area was rebooted in a later build to draw more attention to the Horde versus Alliance conflict. There are still references here and there to this mysterious landing in NPC comments, particularly by Admiral Taylor.
