Most Mists of Pandaria factions offer reputation rewards. In general, rare armor is sold in exchange for [Justice Points] at neutral, epic armor is sold for [Valor Points] at honored and revered, grand commendations are sold at revered, and vanity items and mounts are sold at exalted.

In Patch 5.2, the Shado-Pan Assault provides item level 522 reputation rewards for valor at all reputation levels, but reputation is only gained in the Throne of Thunder raid dungeon. The more traditional factions, Kirin Tor Offensive and Sunreaver Onslaught only offer item level 496 cloaks and rings at revered and exalted.
