History
Mists of Pandaria
As Alliance, you arrive at a pandaren hut and you see a alcohol beverage and you drink to see visions of Varian/Goldrinn a.k.a Lo'Gosh, Anduin and surprisingly Garrosh. Mere moments later, Cho walks up and endorses you with water to wake up from his dream brew. He wanted to know why that particular person is here. So, the Alliance adventurer shows him a option of pictures you can draw with the palm of you're hand. The adventurer can show him Prince Anduin Wrynn, something abstract or something heroic. He'll follow what your people are in due time, though they had much in common according to Cho. Lastly, the adventurer feeds his birds and he'll welcome you in open arms of any service possible. Letting him know of Anduin Wrynn, the adventurer must meditate to find where he is. After a successful meditation, it shows the White Pawn being chased by Hozen. Then, you depart to go help Anduin Wrynn and will see Lorewalker Cho later.
As Horde, you arrive at the Hozen villages and take out Dook Ookem. Shortly afterward, the Hozen fear the Horde adventurer and Cho jumps down and greets them. He said that he saw them in a Skyship and has many question for them. Meeting him at the Cave of Words to know what he has to say. First, he tells the Horde adventurers about the Mogu, then you ride with him to talk about who a Lorewalker is. It's like a historian he says. Him and other Lorewalkers will put together their lore piece by piece. In order to do so, he needs information from tablets and scrolls from the place called Circle of Bone to collect lore for him. One tablet explains of a Hozen warlord many years ago. Second tablet gets researched until a bloodthirsty monster called a Saurok appears. Pandaren have been trying to communicate with these beasts and won't stop trying. At last, he wants to know about your people. Heading towards the Circle of Stone of where his Great Grandfather showed Cho of his ancestors. Now, it's the Horde adventurers to tell the tale and the Lorewalker was pleased. After all that information is digested, he sends you back with the local hozen at a Hozen Camp for welcoming them to the Horde and will see him later.
When both the Alliance and Horde adventurers reach Dawn's Blossom, you find him with Pandaren children and explains of this is the heart of the Jade Forest. If the adventurers can make an impression, Cho asks that the adventurers are to help the people here to earn a reputation and become well known to Pandaria.
Later near Emperor's Omen, you find him with Foreman Mann and she is worried about her husband. Lorewalker Cho wants us to be introduce ourselves to her but is worried about many things. Rescue him and she will be most please to help of what's about to come.
Before preparations for both the Alliance and Horde about to commence, Cho has found something and wants you to go with him as soon as possible. Leaving your faction behind would cost a lot but still have no choice but to go anyway. The
[Cho Family Heirloom] wants to be used to see the last piece of the puzzle. During the Battle for Serpent's Heart, it shown that Emperor Shaohao the last Pandaren Emperor that he hid a negative emotion known as Doubt. The Sha of Doubt came before Cho and he is horrified of this creature. He said it was just a myth but it really happened before his eyes. Now, the adventurers need to clear the manifestation by using Mishi and close the Sha spikes so it can stop creating more Sha. Then land near Serpent's Heart and rescue your faction companions. Shortly afterward, Cho and Fei (Yu'lon the Jade Serpent), stand aside from each other shunned. Talk to the Jade Serpent for going to the Valley of the Four Winds to find what the adventurers quest holds.
In Kun-Lai Summit, you get a note from Mishka/Shademaster Kiryn that Cho had seen something in the mountains. You see him at a Grummle camp called: One Keg. He travels to Seeker's Point to obtain
[The Tongue of Ba-Shon], then you stay connected with him with a device and go into every tomb with Kun-Lai and look for clues of where the Thunder King slept. During hours of looking into all the tombs, had to battle Zandalar Trolls and Mogu after another. Later, you finally discover the rest of the Thunder King. The tablet reads thus read by Lorewalker Cho:
- Lorewalker Cho says: Under Kun-Lai Thunder sleeps...
- Lorewalker Cho says: The storm long spent there rests...
- Lorewalker Cho says: But blood of brother kingdom keeps...
- Lorewalker Cho says: Alive the dispossessed...
- Lorewalker Cho says: By Zandalari blood he will be taken...
- Lorewalker Cho says: To Zandalari Voice he will awaken...
Cho surprised of what happens next. A troll named Prophet Khar'zul leads a team of Zandalar Trolls to take the corpse of Lei Shen out of the tomb and is planning to resurrect him from the Isle of Reckoning. Sadly, it was too late to take before hand. Cho sends word to Lin Whispercloud and Shin Whispercloud of what's happening near the seas of Kun-Lai and must be prepared for massive waves of Mogu and Trolls. It was too late when the adventurers arrive that Zouchin Province was in smoke and ash. The assault had begun. The adventurers and Lorewalker Cho were aware of the situation at hand, not Lin Whispercloud, Shin Whispercloud and others in the town. Continuous waves of Trolls came one by one for us being distracted while the ritual or resurrecting Lei Shen was in progress. Hours gone by and the townsfolk had captured a Zandalari Prisoner. They persuade him for hours until Lorewalker Cho told the adventurers of the situation. They gone upstairs and persuade the prisoner together. It was too late, that the prisoner told them that the Thunder King was successfully resurrected by the troll Prophets. You had no choice by to engage the Isle of Reckoning regardless, and killing them so nothing more is brought back into the world. The aftermath of Lei Shen was another problem to be dealt with for another time.
At last, his home or his library nonetheless, is where he's permanently at in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms known as the Seat of Knowledge. Speak with him of anything particular like knowing more of Pandaria Though yet he wonders why Brann Bronzebeard is there. That's yet to be revealed.
He may often times be seen at Halfhill Market in Valley of the Four Winds.
The Thunder King
He shares stories of Lei Shen, the Zandalari and the Mogu origins. He is also seen in the faction-specific scenarios explaining the adventurers why they are there.

Quotes
The Thunder King trailer
Lorewalker Cho is the narrator of the trailer for the Thunder King patch; this trailer shows the history of Lei Shen's rule over ancient Pandaria.
His speech is transcribed below:
Pandaria, her hills of gold
In dark and mournful times of old
Did once a hopeless horror hold
When from her sacred veil did spring
With storm and flash, a monstrous thing
His name Lei Shen, the Thunder King
His thunder boomed across the land
And none who dared and fought could stand
Against the iron tyrant’s hand
A palace grand, a walled domain
Such mighty works born of his reign
Built by slaves, their hearts in chains
But seasons change and tyrants die
His fury spent in times gone by
The thunder slept beneath Kun-Lai
By Zandalari hands he has been taken
By Zandalari voice he has awakened
Gather heroes, sound the drums
The Thunder King comes
The Thunder King comes
