Lakkari Tar Pits

The Lakkari Tar Pits are, as the name implies, tar pits found in northern Un'Goro Crater, just below Marshal's Refuge. Flowers, Tarblossoms grow at the bottom of these pits, which have gone unnoticed for a long time. Tar beasts live in the area among several giant bones of creatures that got stuck here.

Notes

• Prior to the cataclysm, swimming in these tar pits had no effect, it was like swimming in normal water. However, now swimming in the tar pits puts a slowing debuff on players, making it actually feel like swimming through something thicker than actual water.
  • This debuff makes players swim at 20% speed.
