Herb

In World of Warcraft, herb can mean one of three things:

1. A plant or part of a plant that usually serves as an ingredient in some profession (usually Alchemy) but sometimes has some other use, as with certain quest items and the reagents for a druid's [Rebirth] spell.
2. A plant resource node which can be harvested by those with the Herbalism profession to gain the above item or items.
3. The act of harvesting such a resource with Herbalism. This is used primarily in reference to "herb skinning": the harvesting of herbs from the corpses of plant monsters.
