Heart of the Mantid Swarm is a Pandaria exploration achievement seeking out information behind the mantid.
The four mantid lore idols and their locations are:
- Cycle of the Mantid [48.0, 33.9] between Klaxxi'vess and the biggest clutch in the Clutches of Shek'zeer, Dread Wastes
- Mantid Society [59.9, 55.0] north west of Lake of Stars, Dread Wastes
- Amber [52.6, 10.0] at the back of Amber Vault, Dread Wastes
- The Empress [35.6, 32.6] in Mantid town against the tree on the north side of Heart of Fear, Dread Wastes
Upon interaction with the fourth lore object, adventurers will immediately gain 2000 reputation with the Lorewalkers, and Lorewalker Cho sends a letter via the in-game mail system:

I have heard that you have ventured to uncover the dark secrets of the mantid. Please join me at the Seat of Knowledge and I will help give you some perspective on this unique culture.
